Industrial sites in Naantali

A plot for your company in one of the most business-friendly municipalities in Southwest Finland.

Naantali is proven to be an excellent location for businesses. In the Southwest Finland regional forecast for 2025, Naantali’s entrepreneurs rated the business climate and the cooperation between the municipality and entrepreneurs as the second best in the region, and in the Municipal Image 2025 study, business decision-makers rated Naantali as having the best operating environment among municipalities with fewer than 40,000 inhabitants. In the Finnish Entrepreneurs’ Municipal Barometer (2024), 80 % of the local Naantali entrepreneurs rated the city’s business policy as very good or good.

Naantali offers business plots for various purposes, such as retail, logistics, and industry. The city has an excellent location near Turku and Raisio, as well as good logistical connections. The city aims for quick decision-making to ensure smooth progress of projects and to facilitate business development and growth.

Navire

The Navire area on Luonnonmaa island offers excellent connections for companies in various sectors. Nearby are, for example, Turku Repair Yard and Meyer Oy’s shipyard, offering short storage times and delivery distances. The 30-hectare area is only 5 km from the Port of Naantali, which is Finland’s leading port for Scandinavian freight traffic: more than half of the roro traffic between Southwest Finland and Sweden passes through Naantali.

In addition, road transport runs smoothly via the renewed E18 highway: 17 km to the Port of Turku and 22 km to the Turku airport.

Companies located in Naantali’s archipelago, such as the Navire area on Luonnonmaa, can apply for up to 20 % investment support from the Economic Development Centre for machinery, equipment, and building investments. Ask for more information about other archipelago plots by contacting the city!

Isosuo

The Isosuo industrial and business area is located in the north of Naantali. Due to its location and zoning, the area is suitable for operations that cause environmental disturbances (e.g., noise). Isosuo has an excellent logistical location:

  • 8 km to the Port of Naantali: freight port, with ferry connections to Kapellskär / Sweden via Långnäs / Åland twice a day
  • 15 km to Turku, with four daily ferry departures to Stockholm
  • 173 km to Tampere
  • 178 km to Helsinki

Murikko & Luolala

Business plots are available also in Murikko and Luolala areas, both with good connections to Highway 8 (Turku–Rauma–Pori–Vaasa–Kokkola–Liminka) and the E18 highway. The distance to the Port of Naantali is less than 5 km.

Networking

The City of Naantali organises events for entrepreneurs where you can make contacts and meet other local business owners. Note! The program of the events is mainly in Finnish. Events for entrepreneurs are announced online in the event calendar (in Finnish): www.naantali.fi/tapahtumat

A newsletter for entrepreneurs in Finnish is available for order at uutiskirje.naantali.fi
